Kidnaped L B Girl Pushed From Auto
A 21 year old Long Beach girl Linda Gail Norman was found unconscious between Huntington Beach and Sunset Beach after being pushed from a car. Two witnesses saw an old four door sedan slow and the girl fall out as two men and a woman sped away. She was hospitalized with head abrasions and blood on clothing. She lives on Appleton Street and works as a babysitter. The report also notes a separate crash in Clarksburg where a Capital Airlines training plane fell into a yard, killing three aboard and injuring no resident, with the homeowner narrowly avoiding injury.

Boy Comes Tumbling Down Cat Rescued Wall Saved
In Compton Friday a kitten trapped in a wall was freed after Stephen Ziebarth crawled atop the damaged roof opening and pulled the kitten from a wall plate. The boy fell from the roof, bruised, as father Stanley Ziebarth had been tearing a wall to reach the animals. Earlier that day two more kittens were found in roof insulation and rescued, with about $200 in wall damage from the repairs. The family named the kittens Dollars Cents and Haill-Scent for the trouble.
