Stein warns meat price hikes hit retail as wholesale rises up
Stein told grocery manufacturers that recent wholesale increases in beer and pork will lift retail prices though not in the same proportion. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said B P Goodrich Co Akron Ohio agreed to pay 17500 in settlement of a civil penalty claim that it produced and sold tires for thousands of cars that failed to comply with federal safety standards.
