Cuba begins returning skyjackers to United States
Cuba has started sending alleged hijackers back to the United States. The State Department announced that three American citizens were released by Cuba to Barbados and into FBI hands, a move unclear in signaling any thaw in relations. The cases include Gregory Alexander Graves linked to a 1971 Delta hijack to Cuba and others tied to a National Airlines incident. Authorities estimate about 100 Americans connected to hijackings to Cuba, with few details on current arrests or locations.
