Insurance Firm on Sale for Second Time
LOS ANGELES The Cosmopolitan Life Insurance Co. sold at auction on May 16. Jerome Factor, who bought it for 356,000 at a Chicago court sale, has two prospective buyers, one a Texas company and the other a Pacific Northwest firm. He cites longer commuting time as the reason for selling and notes no fault in the company.
