Death in Missouri gas chamber shocks nation
An execution in Cape Girardeau Missouri killed Sammy Aie Tucker 28 leading to a death sentence for Douglas Wayne Thompson 28 who was condemned for killing Herbert Goss in a gunfight. Tucker died at 12 10 a m after a cyanide procedure. Thompson has appealed to the U S Supreme Court.
