Ward testifies he did not consider Miss Keeler a prostitute

In an Old Bailey style hearing, Dr Ward, a 50 year old osteopath and artist linked to Lord Astor, testifies he did not profit from Miss Keeler or Profumo. Coast Guard rescues survivor from boat swamped off Rye Harbor

Officials reported no Castro interference at the American embassy in Rye New Hampshire as a Cuban capital incident unfolded. A boat carrying 144 people sank miles off Rye Harbor. The Coast Guard recovered all bodies and identified the lone survivor as Harold W. Jones 88 of Schenectady New York who had clung to a corpse for 12 hours. The dead included Albert Eglentine Sr 71 Walter Eglentine 38 and Mabel Lester 62 all from New York and Massachusetts locales.
