Circus Girl Falls From Aerial Ladder Injures Wrists
A two year old circus performer Bonnie McLean, daughter of Buck McLean, fell twelve feet from a swinging aerial ladder during a show before about 200 Operation Head Start pupils in Centreville, Maryland. She sustained both wrists broken and was listed in satisfactory condition at Memorial Hospital in Easton, Maryland. Her father said she lost her grip while the ladder swung from the ground, twisted in the air, and landed on empty seats.
