Weary rescue workers emerged from an abandoned coal mine after an all night search and said they found no trace of three missing teenage boys believed inside. J McDonald of the U S Bureau of Mines ordered the hunt suspended temporarily and warned of further action if no sign by afternoon. Officials searched about 1,200 square feet of accessible mine, noting water in one section and an undisturbed surface scum. Police and firemen aided in the full scale search begun after a boy reported seeing them enter the old mine in Castle Shannon suburbs.
