Dr Herbert Kalmus Dies at 82 Developer of Technicolor

Dr Herbert T Kalmus, 82, developer of the Technicolor process, died after a heart attack at his Bel Air home. founder of Technicolor Corp, led the firm 50 years to 1962 retirement. He moved his lab to Hollywood in 1923 and The Gulf Between (1917) was the first film with the process. Surviving are his widow and two daughters.
