Overflow crowds pack Long Beach oceanfront concert
More than a hundred people lined sidewalks around the park as Norma Lynn and Brian Sullivan led the Long Beach Symphony in a summer concert. Technical issues delayed sound, prompting a switch to the park system. Attendees stayed to hear the final notes amid chilly air with sleeping babies bundled in blankets. Two more performances are planned for July 30 and August 27.
