Oregon child killer execution set for later date
UPI reports Jeannace Freeman, 22, convicted of first degree murder in the 6 year old boy's death, had her execution ordered for today in Jefferson County Oregon. The case centers on a mother and child whose death is linked to a controversial trial. In Cincinnati a make-believe burglary filmed with off-duty patrolmen turned real when an uncoordinated officer intervened, halting the scene.

Hate Mail Volume Soars Across United States
Tampered report from UPI indicates hate mail to be at an all time high. Harold Saks of Tex. says mail volume surged as anti Jewish materials were sent by individuals from Amarillo to the Middle East. Saks told motel operators that religious bias fuels the surge and cannot be stemmed by existing laws. He notes white Christians often drive the trend and Jewish men face targeting in typical cases.
