Robert Wood Johnson former chairman of Johnson & Johnson died Tuesday at Roosevelt Hospital New York aged 74. He became president in 1932 when sales were 11 million dollars and helped the firm grow to the world’s largest surgical dressings maker with 90 plants in six countries and sales over 700 million by 1967. He retired in 1963 and lived in Princeton NI.
