New trial ordered for Tony Boyle in Yablonski murders
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered a new trial for Wo A. Tony Boyle, former United Mine Workers president, reversing his three life terms. The court held the trial court erred by not admitting federal auditor testimony that argued Boyle’s noninvolvement in the murder conspiracy.
