Klan leader James Cole says a new Klan rally will gather not less than 5000 Klansmen from Texas Kent South Carolina and other areas within a month. He spoke at his home in Burlington saying the South will see a larger gathering than the Maxton rally and there will be little trouble. Lumbee Indians react to reports of the planned rally near Maxton and Pembroke. no serious injuries reported as police moved Klansmen away.
