Alexander, the skipper who aided Arnheiter off Vietnam, tells UPI he supports bringing the incident to a court of inquiry to determine whether naval authorities punished a commander based on unsubstantiated subordinates’ allegations. He argues commanding officers deserve superiors' backing when dissident elements complain. Navy officials deny Alexander was forced to resign.
