Britain Begins Experiment Tonight in Pay Television
London reports Britain launches a pay television experiment with The Spear File and Father Goose. Films cost 84 cents each, coin input via tele-vision sets. Service by Pay-TV plans to expand to 2,000 to 3,000 homes in Southwark and Westminster with Royal Ballet programs and first-run films, awaiting reception over the next three years.
