Hoyt Bud Cobb an escaped Georgia murderer and narcotics user with a southern drawl was added to the FBI ten most wanted list. Fugitive since last April he escaped Wayne prison camp in Jessup serving a life term for robbery and murder in Toccoa. He is considered armed dangerous and may have ties to unsolved Florid a case. Cobb has prior convictions for larceny forgery in North Carolina and Texas.
DETROIT 17 year old Edwin Swiderski Jr. faced first degree murder charges in the slaying of his grandmother 65 year old Lilian Swiderski. He was part of a group of five including three juveniles accused in the beating theft of 16104 which the woman had withdrawn from her savings. The body was found in her basement hidden under painter's cloth after beating apparently with a frying pan. Police said a used car dealer reported attempting a 6980 cash purchase of two cars and Swiderski admitted receiving the money from his grandmother.
