Girl survives 12,000-volt shock after fall near Mentone
In Redlands a 1-year-old girl suffered third and fourth degree burns after grabbing a downed 12,000-volt line while hiking with her family. Deputy Deaton said her father freed her with a rock as medics at Loma Linda University Hospital reported she survived the electrical trauma.
