New pediatric unit opens at Long Beach Community Hospital
A new 12 bed pediatric unit on the sixth floor debuts with a 1 to 3 pm and 5 to 7 pm reception on Tuesday. More than 1,000 guests including medical staff, Foundation Board, Board of Trustees, Auxiliary and Children’s Benefit League will tour the gaily decorated space with murals by Jayne McKeown. The gift funded entirely by the Children’s Benefit League supports dental medical and psychiatric services for local children.
