Morton enters Stanford for radiation treatment
Interior Secretary Rogers C. Morton goes to Stanford University Medical Center today for radiation therapy of a prostate malignancy found early. The Interior Department released a statement noting the cancer is in an early stage and could respond to treatment. Nixon urged immediate treatment and Morton expects the process to last weeks while he remains ambulatory with a small Menlo Park office.
