Attorney arrested in bond theft case in Hollywood
UPI reports Hollywood attorney Philip Lazar, 40, was arrested after allegedly selling stolen federal bonds to an undercover agent. Authorities seized $600,000 in bonds, $300,000 in Lockheed stock certificates, $252,000 in Western Union money orders, cashiers checks, and 3 pounds of cocaine. Lazar had been under surveillance for months for bonds and narcotics activity.
