Youths bound over in Long Beach shotgun slaying case
Five of six youths charged in the November 28 killing of 20 year old Russday at an apartment on East 10th Street were bound over for Superior Court arraignment January 2 after a one day preliminary hearing. Victim Kevin Skein and two other youths were forced to lie on the floor before the shots. Police said the motive suspected narcotics. Two other residents, Peter MacIsage and Paw Bruning, were arrested on marijuana charges. The case includes a mixture of juvenile and young adult defendants and witnesses describing the scene and alleged drug involvement.
