A former San Francisco policeman turned career criminal was sentenced by Superior Judge Joseph M. Dalt to five years to life for robbing a Willington market. He was captured October 2 by Harbor Division officers after a holdup at Safeway 1355 Avalon, Blyd. Police linked him to multiple robberies including a $340,000 armored car heist in Minnesota and market holdups in Inglewood and West Los Angeles.
