Bus Co Changes Belmont Shore Loop Amid Protests
Long Beach Motor Bus Co will reroute the Belmont Shore Third Street loop Sunday after the Public Utilities Commission ordered changes to ease resident objections. The shift affects Claremont Avenue Yaledale and Santa Ana avenues, with a wider October reroute planned. Utilities officials also restore Line 6 on Atlantic Avenue and abandon the California Avenue route, adding Orange Avenue service and rerouting Line 12 westbound through downtown Fourth Street.
