Swedish Lucia Rita Zander to lead 11th annual pageant at Machinists Hall
Rita Zander an 18 year old Swedish born student will again wear the crown and robe as Lucia in the 11th annual Swedish pageant at Machinists Hall. She performed the role previously in Arvika Sweden and in Canada before moving to California. The Evening Star Lodge 426 Vasa Order of America hosts the event with English as the pageant language. Rita and her parents run the Little Sweden restaurant and she is fluent in Swedish and English.
