Airlines May Use U S Bases Policy Revealed
The Independent Journal reports the Defense Department plans to allow civilian airlines to use Air Force Bases nationwide. If announced by Secretary Melvin Laird, the policy could spur development of Hamilton Air Force Base in Marin County as a regional aviation hub near San Francisco.
