Fulbright backs claim on Soviet missile subs dispute
Senate Foreign Relations Chair Fulbright said after a CIA briefing there is no basis for charges the Russians lied about missile submarines. Mansfield urged both Jackson and the White House to present facts about whether the Soviets built 48 or 41 to 43 subs. The House delayed action on the five year interim arms limit amid public works debates.
