Crash kills woman near Homer in rural Illinois
A Low Beach woman Eugenie Mhorn aged year died in a car crash near Homer Illinois on Sunday. Her passenger role was with Audrey Heppe of Homer, who drove the car attempting to cross Illinois 49 from a gravel county road when struck by Robert Gilkaus of Homer in an oncoming vehicle. Gilkaus, his wife, and son were injured along with Miss Heppe.
