Long Beach disco club under receivership faces fee use limits
A Superior Court judge ordered Bogarts at Marina Pacifica not to spend any more of member fees until opening. The suit by Darry Hathorn and Rogerts Investment Group Ltd. seeks records from seven partners and the contractor, plus payoff of liens on the remaining 10 000 in membership funds. Construction costs total 249 000 with plans for a public restaurant and private discotheque. the judge denied replacing spent funds though.

Unemployed Singer Faces Four More Murder Charges
James Williams, 52, of 317 E 131st St near Compton, already charged with murdering Erlene Williams and raping a daughter, now faces four additional murder counts. The case stems from the disappearance of Erlene Williams' three children and a neighbor after her strangling July 20 and a blaze at their home. The missing children are Joy Malory, 12, Yolanda Williams, 8, Violet Malory, 9, and Christopher Marshall, 1, of 1439 Belnick Ave, Carmos. Williams is due in Compton Municipal Court August 23 for a preliminary hearing.
