Key government witness in Berrigan case vanishes
Ex-con Boyd Wredecick Douglas, a double agent linked to the Nixon aide kidnapping plot, disappeared after testimony to a secret grand jury in Harrisburg. He was last seen after leaving Bucknell University near Lewisburg where he studied on release and moved in antiwar circles with connections to Philip and Daniel Berrigan. Authorities and friends remain uncertain about his fate as indictments against the defendants proceed and the grand jury issues new subpoenas.
