Two Die As Fire Rips Immokalee Migrant Camp
A predawn blaze at Graham migrant quarters near Immokalee Florida killed two men and burned five wooden buildings housing 80 to 100 workers. Coroner W W Hancock said two bodies were recovered and two others were treated for burns with one admitted. Fire Chief Jack Whisnant reported the fire began before 4 am destroying ten-unit buildings and another nearby structure leaving smoldering debris and charred remnants.

UC Coed 18 Dies in Fall From Cliff
Santa Barbara police reported an 18 year old University of California coed died after falling from a cliff onto a rocky beach. Miss Margaret Dananbauer of Chicago, a UC freshman, was questioned and released to Air Force officials after the incident occurred Saturday night.
