Halfway house relocation plan stalled by writ
Bellflower residents seek a writ of mandamus to halt the Little House board and care home move from Downey Avenue to 9712 9718 Harvard Street. Harvey Jacobs contends the Harvard Street site is not zoned for a sanitarium and challenges the planning commission and city council action granting the permit. The case aims to test legal compliance, with a trial likely within six months and possible interim relief.
