Roosevelt denies pressure on Douglas in SEC tale
James Roosevelt rejected Douglas memoir claims of White House pressure during his SEC chairmanship. He said he did not pressure the secretary and cast doubt on Douglas recollections while noting his father never cried. In a separate incident, Donald St Wait, a convicted robber, was stabbed in his California Training Facility cell and was hospitalized in serious condition.
