Gas bills to rise to mid 1975 for Alaska project
The Public Utilities Commission allowed Southern California Gas Co to raise rates through mid-1975, adding about one cent a month to residential bills to generate $599,000 a year. The increase funds an Alaska North Slope gas exploration plan, offsetting higher out-of-state gas costs for 3.25 million customers. Patricia Gayman appointed director of the State Department of Consumer Affairs by Gov Reagan.
