Hawaiian Gardens teen charged as adult in gang killings
Eddie Blajes, a Hawaiian Gardens teenager who was still in training, was arraigned as an adult in Long Beach Municipal Court on murder and assault charges linked to two gang related shootings. He pled innocent and remains in custody with bail set at 25,000 dollars.

Subpoena Dismissed on Hearst Flight Probe
In San Francisco UPI Doron Weinberg says a subpoena seeking testimony from Jack Scott’s father John J. Scott was withdrawn after officials learned he could not help locate Patricia Hearst. Scott had twice refused Grand Jury questions invoking the Fifth Amendment. The FBI also linked a Las Vegas apartment complex where the elder Scott lived to Hearst’s possible stay.

Man receives up to 15 years for voluntary manslaughter
Keith W. Golledge, a 24 year old from Lakewood, was sentenced by Long Beach Superior Court Judge Elsworth Beam to state prison for up to 15 years after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the stabbing death of his wife Christine Bee Golledge. The case stemmed from events in September ending with a mistrial and a late guilty plea.
