Honest Fremont Boy Returns Gold Eagle to its Owner
During the Congressional Convention in Fond du Lac on Thursday the 25th a 10 year old vender returned a misgiven gold eagle to the rightful owner. His integrity moved bystanders to donate over thirty dollars, with Hon. C Billinghurst adding a half eagle. The episode, tied to the Emerald Isle and Republican sentiment, was celebrated as a moral lesson for Young America.
