Death of Mrs. Geo Christopher Shocks Prescott
Yesterday afternoon Prescott mourned the death of Mrs George Christopher at her home on Oak Street after a brief illness. Daughter of J K Hamilton she leaves a husband and child. Funeral was held at 4 pm at the residence with Rev Barkwell and Rev Alexander officiating. Interment followed at DeAnn cemetery.

Two Boys and Dog Die as Lightning Strikes Tree
Cabot June 1 two boys ages 12 and 11 and their dog were killed by a lightning strike while seeking shelter under a tree during a storm. The youths John Smith and Dorsey Smith were found with their feet together and the dog across them after tying horses to a wagon. A double funeral was held at Mt Tabor. The Smith family has suffered multiple violent deaths in a row, including the father and the mother in earlier years. Mrs. W 1 th mother of one boy is related to Rev. R W McKay.

MAD FROM RABIES BEGS FOR DEATH
Sam Scott a prominent farmer near Harrisburg, bitten a week ago by his dog, suffered rabies and pleaded for death. He refused family aid, was moved to Memphis then New Orleans for treatment. He lives with his brother on their farm and remains unmarried.
