Indictments Quashed Against Woolen Companies and Wood

Federal Judge Mack quashed indictments charging profiteering by the American Woolen Companies of New York and Massachusetts and William M. Wood. The ruling held woolen goods not wearing apparel under the Lever Act and thus outside the indictment. The government said it will appeal the decision.

Nevada Circuit Court July Term Jurors Listed

Circuit Clerk McGough announced the July 1920 Nevada Circuit Court jurors. The term begins July 12, likely short, with Judge Naynie expected to preside. Grand and petit jurors and alternates are named, though the docket is light and the judge’s replacement not yet announced.

Prescott Triumph and National Convention Ballot Update

Old Fashioned Revival Under Big Brown Tent

An old fashioned revival begins on June 12 under a large brown tent on the grammar school grounds. Conducted by Rev. L. Hibner of Mulder Missouri and Rev. A. M. Gilbert of Mena Arkansas. Rev. T. W. Hughes of the Church of the Nazarene invites all to hear the gospel that saves from sin.
