Powers Funeral Held Thursday
Funeral services for Karl T. Powers, who died in Spokane Monday night, were held at the Methodist church at 2 o clock yesterday with Rev. E. Smith officiating. Burial was in Whitefish Cemetery. Powers, born October 1, 1869 in Kirksville Maine, married Anna Hach September 26, 1907 in Memphis Tennessee. He served as yardmaster for the Great Northern in Whitefish from February 1917 to October 1918 and later worked in local yards until ill health in December. He left six children, five living.
