Parole Granted to Jacob Meadows in Forgery Case
The Penitentiary Board on June 8 granted parole to Jacob Meadows of Crawford County. Convicted eighteen months ago of forging the name of his deceased aunt to a deed near Van Buren, he received a four year sentence. Meadows has claimed innocence and worked at the state capitol during confinement.

University Trustees Meet in Fayetteville Monday
University trustees from Little Rock and Dallas Herndon will travel to Fayetteville for a board meeting that may adjourn around June 15. President J N Tillman’s term ends June 80 and while not officially seeking re election he is considered a candidate. Death of Rev. T. H. Ware Led Camden Methodist Community
The Rev. T. H. Ware presiding elder of the Methodist church in this district died at 4 AM of heart failure after months of ill health and recent surgery in Little Rock. Born in Taladega Ala March 20 1846 he served as Confederate soldier and long time church leader. Survived by wife Fanny Cook Ware and six children, his funeral at First Methodist Church in Little Rock this afternoon.

George W. Brown killed in El Paso when an automobile struck him as he boarded a street car. He died from meningitis after unconsciousness. Services were held at Greenwood Cemetery with Ouachita camp of W O W. and Methodist pastor Rev T O Owen officiating. Brown survived by his wife two daughters his mother Mrs J W Brown and siblings.
