Farewell Services as Arkansas Presbyterian Church Adopts New Congregation
Dr F E Maddox and church members resolved to form a Congregation church. Farewell services drew large crowds with visitors from other churches. A site selection committee began work on locating a new church, reporting expected within the week. Gibson rested in Conway Ark reports and received a deputy prosecuting attorney commission for Miller County Jutor Foote arrived with war department officials to discuss food relief in Bowie County. Foreman named a wing committee to oversee supplies in Bowie County with N A Shaw R B Harrison and J W Morrow. Foote left for DeKalb and planned to inspect the overflowed district in the western county.
