Death of Mrs. Jake Baltensperger Near town the old resident dies
Mrs. Jake Baltensperger died last night at 1 o'clock from pneumonia after several days illness. She lived alone a few miles north of town and had been a Prescott resident for 15 years with her cobbler husband. He left county about 20 years ago and reappeared here over a year ago, later returning to California. Her estate, including the farm she inhabited, goes to an only child.

Sheriff Hood Reports Emmet Shooting Suspects Arrested
Sheriff Hood returned from Emmet stating that Hill and Terry, principals in the Emmet Saturday shooting, have been arrested and released on bond. Hill was taken yesterday and Terry this morning.
