Indictments Grow Under Grand Jury Report At Circuit Court
The Ouachita County grand jury reported 85 indictments including a murder in the second degree charge against Jill Ammons and multiple gaming cases. Other cases covered whiskey violations, larceny pleas, and assaults. The court adjourned to Monday with the grand jury still in session. Also bids for general construction of the state normal school ranged up to $60,000 with Halter Bros. lowest. a three story building will include classrooms offices and gymnasium.
