Neighbor fatally strikes man with scantling in Hope area
Lusius Moore and Albert Johnson clashed at Springhill six miles southwest of Hope. Moore struck Johnson on the head with a heavy scantling, killing him instantly. Johnson, 28, a widower longtime resident. Monroe, about 18 and single, born nearby, is in custody.
