Humorist in Hope Teases Prescott in Amateur Skit
A Hope humorist ridicules Prescott in social jests while crowds visit to break life’s monotony. The piece recalls a Prescott traveler challenged to name local stores and a boastful comparison of hardware stocks. It notes annual doll production and cultural reach from Germany to Lapland, ending with a school superintendent’s remarks and a sales pitch for policies of a Mississippi Valley company.
