Mail service reform and Wylam election report
A letter urges Birmingham Post Office changes to speed daily mail from Pratt City to Ensley and Wylam, reducing delays of over fourteen hours. It proposes one pouch daily and notes potential government expenses offset by business support. Election results show J M Russell elected mayor and several aldermen in Wylam with strong voter turnout.
