District 143 1/2 Board Forms Policy Task Force Plan
The Education Committee met June 15 in the Harding School board room to form a Policy Task Force aimed at upgrading district policies. President Howell named a four member group to outline composition and work plan. The board also heard a book rental total of 13 129 dollars and noted progress on summer remedial classes starting June 28. A second adjournment policy set 11 30 PM as adjournment time. The board approved parent teacher conferences for next school year and discussed the tentative budget with a public hearing planned July 20 at 14545 California Avenue, Posen, 9 to 5 open hours.
