In Tygart Valley Kentucky a street duel between Charles Stewart and I N McGinnis, a former district school trustee and a schoolteacher, ended after mutual blows with a rock and a later punch. Stewart, tall and respected, and McGinnis, a small dark man, fought for about five minutes until neighbors intervened. The incident unsettled locals though crops and farm shows remain favorable amid recent rain.
