Wilbur Morgan reports the death of his son in law Toomas Cadarea 26 of Dayton after an assault on a downtown Dayton street. Cadarea died in a Dayton hospital shortly after admission following a blunt instrument blow to the head as he walked with his wife Jean Morgan and two other women. Surviving are Cadarea’s wife his father Tommy Cadarea and his father in law Sheriff Morgan a brother and two sisters.

TWO WIN DISMISSAL ON THEFT CHARGES

A charge of motor vehicle theft against tarry Todd Jr. and Ray Bradley was dismissed Friday afternoon in common pleat court by Judge Pred W. Everett of Jackson because of insufficient evidence. Testimony showed Todd was near a stolen truck but not seen operating it. police reports say a cruiser had to push the vehicle to start it. Bradley’s charges were dismissed on a motion that evidence was lacking.

Steinhauser Langhroom Robbery At Sargents Restaurant

Sheriff Jesse H. Foster said a burglary occurred at Andre Steinhauer's restaurant on Route 2A at Sargents. Entry was made through a broken window and a pane, with fop and cigarets among the items taken. He noted lock devices were breached during the break in.

Guards Put Over Patient Charged With Wife Slaying

Hillsboro June 26 A guard was placed over William Mullenix at Hillsboro hospital following murder charge in the death of his former wife Betty Barnett. Sheriff Gustine said the guard was at the request of the county prosecutor and hospital authorities. Physicians report Mullenix shows improvement and may be moved to the county jail when feasible.
