Sawyer Wins Post on Party Committee
Ohio delegates selected Charles Sawyer of Cincinnati and Mildred Jaster of Cleveland to represent the state on the national committee at the Democratic convention caucus in Philadelphia. Sawyer’s selection was unanimous after rivals Horstman and Heer withdrew. Jaster won the national committeewoman post 38 to 15½ over Marie Ketterer.
